 Commonly used Homeopathic medicines for psoriasis are :-

1. ARSENIC ALB:-

Guttate psoriasis, small red colored spots silver colored scales. Itching aggravated at night, by cold and ameliorated by heat, hot applications. Scratches until it bleeds.

2. GRAPHITES :-

Mainly used for Nail psoriasis with rough thick and deformed nails. Psoriasis diffusa, tendency of skin to crack and ooze. Itching with burning and stinging. Scratches until it is raw. Aggravated at night, warmth of bed.

3. ARSENIC IOD :-

Psoriasis diffusa, Syphilitic psoriasis. Skin dry crusty with inability to perspire. Itching aggravated by undressing, at night. 

4. SULPHUR :-

Mainly used in cases where there is a history of suppression because of excessive use of ointments. Skin dry cracked aggravated by washing and in winters. Skin eruptions bleeding after scratching, alternating with respiratory symptoms asthma. Itching with burning stinging aggravated by warmth of bed.

5. KALI ARS :-

Psoriasis with bran like scaly eruptions. Itching aggravated by undressing, on becoming warm in bed. Stinging, burning, crawling sensation. Itching temporarily ameliorated by scratching.

6. THYROIDINUM :-

Psoriasis with obesity, useful in patients with hypothyroidism. 



Other medicines are Sepia, Rhus tox, Psorinum, Sulphur, Kali ars, Carcinocin, Acid chryso, Chrysorobin etc

URTICARIA AND ITS HOMEOPATHIC TREATMENT

Also called hives, urticaria is an allergic condition of the skin characterized bu well circumscribed areas of erythema with itching, burning or stinging.

COMMONLY USED HOMEOPATHIC MEDICINES FOR URTICARIA:-

1. APIS :-

Most commonly used medicine for urticaria. Eruptions with burning and stinging. Nodular urticaria aggravated during exercise,  perspiration, by heat, in bed .

2. CHLORALUM :-

Used for nodular urticaria aggravated by taking wine. Itching with burning agg at night. Scratches until it bleeds.

3. RHUS TOX :-

Urticaria with intense itching aggravated in cold damp weather, getting wet and ameliorated by warmth.    


other medicines used are Urtica urens, Chloralum, Astcus f, Rhus tox, Sepia, Sulphur, Natrum mur, etc.

MELASMA OR FACIAL PIGMENTATION

Melasma is caused because of excess production of pigment called melanin. 

SYMPTOMS:-

In Melasma patches of pigmentation appear on the face, mostly over the cheeks, nose, forehead etc.
